Post Brine Fiend of Death (Update Jan 2nd)
Brine Fiend of Death

Start
Naram-Sin
Shonta x2 (Yes still Shonta, If you want to go off first turn at all and guarantee second turn then you need her)
Redu Zayd x3 (BEST CHOSEN!!!! for Naram)

Army
Mistress Dagani x2 (In here for Defiant for Naram and first turn she protects shonta)
Mistress Sanai x2 (Great for readying and if there are extra Zayds they can go on her)
Redu Firamx2 (Easy to get big, counts for 4 charges, and Zayd also helps him!!)
Redu Carr x2 (Worth 3 charges, has built in movement, and a draw built in!!!)
Redu Tam x3 (This will never change though he is now not as useful as before, though he still has planar)
The Harvest x3 (Now only in here for a first turn Bankai, otherwise he is useless. Might be worth going down to 2, not sure yet)
Amends x3 (Biggest form of attack in the deck, Staple in Naram)
R'Veeka (Give me may Shield back but with no draw back. I loves her!!! Mercs would help chosen right?)

Growl is still ok but not sure if he is needed anymore. The seed is all but useless now. Tam does it and now that you get Bankai second turn no problem he does nothing good.

Items
Maul of Justice x3 (BEST WEAPON EVER!!! Makes it so Naram survives way longer than he really should)
Fields of Sorrow x2 (This breaks Amends wide open. Getting to use him twice in the same turn with the same card is sick and wrong)
Bruntor's Helm x2 (Still great for 1 HP, sure the Bonnet gets 2 buuuuut your already trying to do a lot, why tire yourself out. I'll test it still but sure not that big of a deal)
Fiendish Plate x2 (Soooo easy to do out of Naram it was totally made for him, The HP is delayed but the extra 2 AC is well worth it)
Blessed Bangle (MORE SWINGS!!!! and Unstunning is HUGE!!)
Havat-lahn Stance (MORE SWINGS!!!!! LIKE HE NEEDS UM, LOL)

Actions
Soothing Waters x3 (Protects and puts wounds on Naram)
Embolden x2 (A way better version of Lift)
Bandage x3 (Shonta can protect Zayd, yes protect.... I formation is not meant to happen in chosen just because they have abilities when they die)
Defiant x2 (MORE HP!!!! and an extra swing. Still seeing if I need it totally but whatever)
False God's Council x2 (If for the small chance you don't get the thrall, or the dumb Maul isn't coming fast enough)
Heart of the Warrior x3 (More attack, like ya need it but, and MORE HP!!!! love it)

Cool! Thanks for that. That's fairly close to what I have. I'm still packing Sanai and Bloodoak for wound distribution and then Garowl to remove them, or just send the wounds to the one HP pleebs to get Sanai's charge count up and allow Naram to ready again.

I believe that is his pet term for Putresence. Maybe should be Puke?

Locally Kerebrus has coined it "The Buttercup" As in the old lady that insults Princess Buttecup in "The Princess Bride"

Bow down to the queen of garbage, filth, rubbish.......Booooo!

Yes, it's Putrescence and should be Puke. I'll go change that, ASAP.

Played against this deck a few times last weekend. Great build!

A lot has changed since your decklist above.
Update your decklist!! :war:

Also, I think Final blessing would be a nice addition to your deck. Naram has plenty of Order:heal from the Garowls (which are Extremely annoying!), but no react healing. You said yourself that the difference between 4 & 5 HP is huge, so a "surprise" 5th Hp could be win! Final blessing also takes care of your Zara problem and any other discard pile interaction we'll be seeing out of the new set!

Final Blessing could work very well. I'm not sure how many I have though...

I'll look at that later today.

Bloodoak Staff is super good. I would consider it instead of the weapon.

I think he's got the hammer in there since you can't run the staff with the shield. I still thing Bloodoak is the best frontline cleric option for The Chosen since it effectively turns wounds caused by your opponent's into your action and allows your thralls to react.

I know he replaced the Forest peeps with Shulgi. And he's got x3 Garowl...
Garowl combined with that shield is aggravating...
He has some weapon that makes his atk huge if he has wounds on him...
...Also, a chosen guy who nerfs my front rank and brings minions in with him..
...He turns guys into thralls to feed Garowl

I almost beat him with Mad Mel (Bosun pwns chosen!), by recycling Misear Diplomacy, but he readied twice and killed me (didn't see it coming).
I really thought I'd blitz through his ranks with Yvaalis, but he always gets big on turn 2, I couldn't hit his planar, and no multiwounding and Garowl...
The only time I beat him was with Pinion, again because Naram doesn't get above 8 skill.

With SoO you get Earth Mephit, which grants 2 Skill, an order to give 2 AC, and Mud Slick prevention.

I suppose... Is that really the best there is for clerics against actions? :? No higher skill bonuses, or cancellation, or redirection?

Guilt Ridden seemed very meh when he used it on me... a situational action card slot to give -5 penalties until end of turn?... Oh well, he said it wins games so... It just seemed that most of the time, I spent my strikes trying to kill Naram so...

Yeah, you're Galam-Marduk deck rocks! I love the thrust for +14! You should post a decklist up!

Like I said before. A rogue would have to a use all resources on the warlord, but fighters don't. Guilt Ridden is for against fighter decks, no rouges.

There's been a lot of changes to this deck but I just don't have the time to update it. I would never use The Mephit though as then I can't move.
