Post Re: The Chosen of 4e: Sanga-Kish
So, I am a new player and I chose Sanga-Kish for my first deck and the way I have it built seems so far to work solidly, admittedly I'd like some way to keep my starting line up more solid but seems difficult in general for Chosen unless I am missing stuff.

Also, not sure if it has enough Thralls honestly.

2x Darkspawn
1x Pazu-Gara
2x Wailing Scrambler
Sanga-Kish

3x Pagophoros
3x As'sa
3x Redu Tam
3x The Seed
2x Garowl
2x Green Hag

3x Incinerate
3x Chain Lightning
3x Heaven's Wrath
3x Ball Lightning
3x Elemental Bolt
3x Ice Surge
3x Disintegrate
3x Teleport

1x Necklace of Spell Storing
3x Ring of Vorn

Edit: Apparently in my stupidity i put Lightning Bolts up here instead of Ball Lightning. When I read Iceman's post i was like "wait a sec i have ball lightnings." then checked and realized typed in wrong thing lol.

Looks solid to me. Coming to NJ next weekend? It will be a good testing ground.

Solid starting line. If you're not cycling The Devoted, then Darkspawn-Pazu is a great front rank.
Consider one Winti, for the quick shoot-then-sac-and-shoot option if you don't want to wound Sanga right away.

Solid characters, though I'm not sure about running only 22 of them. Maybe add Yil-Grayl and an extra Wailing and Winti - being able to rebuild/hold ranks couldn't hurt. Or Redu Bir for his 3rd hit point and Defend feat. Or, and this is my super-secret-tech, Burning Basilisk (it almost always gets its react the turn after it comes into play, and can surprise cast Incinerate from the front).

Next, my big concern would be the number of SO's you've got there (9, 12 or 15 depending on how you count Incinerate and Heaven's Wrath). The speed with which you burn through your deck (combined with recycling from the Necklace) makes it more likely you'll have cards you cannot play.
My recommendation - 2x Ball Lightning. Drop one Lightning Bolt and one Chain Lightning.

I'd love to recommend an item or two - Castux helps with the Scribe checks and provides more offense, another Necklace could be helpful, Darkwood Staff combos very well with Sanga's order, Ivory Scepter can be a game-winner once even a handful of characters die, Shroud of Lost Souls is both meta, defense and offense in one package. But the deck is pretty tightly focused on getting its job done quickly. So maybe hold on those items, see how it plays first.

Cheers.
-VIC
