Post Eresh Drop
I'm sure this deck has no chance at doing anything other than utterly failing in a competitive environment, but I wanted to play around. Any advice is welcome.

The sole goal of the deck is to get out all your dusty high-level Daemons and Eresh, the pot-bellied pilferer of your opponent's pleebs. So it's mostly deck-thinning and draw.

1 Atiratu
2 The Earth
3 Mitrasz
3 Redu Carr
3 Redu Tam
1 Oloidynatos
1 Bem Kaundodo
1 Master Ashtaroth
1 Master Ezdeha
1 Aimonos
1 Getraxos
3 Shan-Kassyn
1 Fors
1 Utnapishtim
1 Takaxras
1 Eresh q'Shedim
25 Characters

3 Meet at the Inn
3 I Call Forth Valor
3 From Dust to Dust
3 Blood Price
3 Teleport
2 One Last Time
2 False God's Council
19 Actions

3 Living History
1 Necklace of Spell Storing
1 Dark Heart of Kylnion
1 Staff of Storage
6 Items

first trick to this deck - Arne has to cut loose with the Ereshes (or is it Ereshi?)

Second trick: Beat one. Not a piece of cake.

you could add a Living Statue to the mix for more rank building.

Meh. I guess. It's a Spend Order, though. The beauty of Living History is that it's a react, grants skill, and they can boost the front rank. What would I take out for the statues?

I wouldn't worry too much about the rank building. But you might need a couple more thralls to sacrifice and daemons to get into those ranks.

I'd recommend dropping two Ivaas in favor of another Rhomel and an Oloidynatos (or just two Rhomel).
Drop Ezdeha since you cannot search for him in favor of The Seed or Redu Tam in order to boost your odds of getting the 3rd level you need to go fetch Shan-Kassyn. Maybe drop the last Ivaas for a second one.

And, of course, if you really want to go for the gusto, find a spot for Redu Firam so you have a 4th-level to sacrifice to search for Eresh. (( hint - Aimonos is a good rank-filler but not much else. ))

Can't argue with the actions, except maybe to suggest 3 One Last Times and only two Blood Price. It's not ideal, but you could always OLT an Eresh that you drew too soon and use his react to get yourself another thrall from the enemy. Or at least use it as offense against the enemy.

I'd recommend one Dark Heart and one Necklace of Spell Storing. Get the best of both.

Let us know how it goes. Could be fun.

The Blood Price is solely to thin the deck and there's enough Wizards (including the x1 Rhomlizard that you fetch) to wound them, instead of Atiratruetrue. The only problem with taking out those waste-of-space level 5's, is that the 5th rank is the most crucial to put something in. I've gotta get the 5th rank up and running turn one. I updated with some of your suggestions. I really like the suggestion of Redu Tam, but if I take out Ivaas, I can't run False God's Council.

Well, that's one more reason to put in Oily - search for him when you draw the FGC and not before.
In fact, that might make Oily more worthwhile than Rhomel.

Food for thought.

you already have fors and phraistos as level sevens, but if you need a third, or if you'd rather replace either, try playing the new overlord. the plauge ship (since i cant spell his name). I built an atiratu just around dropping him, cause then you stun him up and from then on all your daemons order into play adjacent to him in either rank 1 or 2

... You can have an OL and a Daemon Lord in the same deck? It doesn't follow the Dragon Lord rules?

This deck is sickly powerful and amazingly consistent.
I agree with Rich, if you want to run this at Gencon you probably need to focus on a more obtainable OL/DL... like the boat!

1 Aimonos
1 Getraxos
3 Shan-Kassyn
1 Fors
1 Utnapishtim
1 Takaxras
1 Eresh q'Shedim
25 Characters
If you drop Eresh for the boat (and even Sin) you can focus on level 5 daemons. x2 Getraxos, x1 Flayer and Hungerer.
Drop Fors & Tak, the boat's ability is stupid good and they don't work.
x2 or even x3 Master Ash for first turn consistency. If you draw ONE of these guys, you can drop the boat 1st turn. just. dumb.
I think Rhomelzard and As'sa are better than Oloid, but Oloid can False Council. Rhomel can level up and cast all the wizzy spend spells. He can scribe too.

Most games on 1st turn, you'll kill the Earth to drop your level 4, drop Ash, search and drop Shan & the boat. Scribe and stun the boat up to the front.
Turn 2, win target game.
With your deckbuild, Master Ash is the ONLY piece you can't search up.

I like x2 Dust and Blood Price, and x3 one last time (Sin's only usage), but good either way.
Switch Teleport to Phantom Steed, the illegal rank clause really hinders this deck.
Add Flame Blade. Attach it to anyone for an extra strike & +2Atk, or attach it to the boat for an extra cancel.
Add Life is Magic. The Boat can use it on itself.

Drop Necklace & Dark Heart for Limited Wish.
Darkwood staff is better than Storage for late game boat spells. (if there is a late game... maybe just drop for another wish)

This deck scares me. :nonono: It will win Gencon this year.

Not if the other 5 decks are front-rank fighters.

Living History, and Shan's React say "Bring it"

You'd better be swinging first turn, or it doesn't matter. Fighter decks running 11 movement still have less consistency than this.

The ship can drop swinging planar daemons... Better stock up on Flame Blades.

Playing this Atiratu is like playing an OL. Sure you can beat it with a strong deck,... if you're lucky.

Spoiler:
And dude, from around 40 last year to only six ppl!??... Hater.

I was just kidding...but seriously, 2x movement + Obliterate is the God Hand for Krenthor, and it comes out pretty often.

No prob, I hear ya. It's still feels tougher than it should be.

I did another 8 playtests against it tonight, and the ship was dropped against me 1st turn all 8 times.
I did manage to kill it twice with front rank blitz fighter warlords, but his daemons were enough to kill me off.

Atiratu's start is now x3 Mitrasz, x1 Earth, x1 Plentiful with Living History in the deck.
It's damn near impossible to break ranks first turn.

Some good antimeta is D-Rift, Entomb, and Easy Target.
