What is the highest number of ranks (so far) that you have had when you used Gahid's Stand? It looks like you could pretty consistently get 8-9.

I have no one to play with. You should build it. I imagine you could get 6-9 sometimes before Gahid explodes. It would just be hilarious to actually get the stand off. I'd like to see it go toe to toe against the Count Adrian deck I just posted in WotOC. I think Syne should be legal in Ancients as long as there is a definite character you are using for your Warlord, so you couldn't switch to Fylgia or anything you wanted. He just made everything so much fun.

Your design structure should provide you with a ton of offense, so you need to work on the defense. Simply, more AC. Full Plate may be a simple solution. or use Blackstone Spaulders for more wonky ranks (and potentially building back).
If worried about being able to hold that second rank behind Gahid, consider putting Fylgia in that spot

Cardinal Daris needs a spot too.

 Cardinal Darus! I never even thought of him for this deck. If I can somehow just get 18 ranks!

I may steal this idea if you don't mind... I haven't built a good fighter in a while and this looks like fun. :D

You're in the wrong place. This deck would outright lose to anything.

I don't care about win, I have plenty of decks that do that too much already, I'm just looking for fun and this looks pretty fun.

someway, somehow, you forgot Isadran Warrior.
And Shore Up
With a little work, this deck could just be frightening.

Map of back Alleys might have to go - only two starting rogues in the deck.

and why the Isle of Fire? just for the extra ATK and wounding? Better ways to do that. Heck, Gahid himself is only nominally part of this deck, you could shift to Jodin Drac for Level 7 front rank equipping (Gloves of Mercy and Bracers of Ogre Power). Or Edric D'ilchant for the innate action recycling. Or shift Downward to Dallen Stormlost for Cleric goodness. with some choice AC boosts, this could even be an Erebus Stormchild deck in the making

Because it's Gahid's action that's being used. It's a "themed" deck! Late turn Isle of Fire lets you ready from stunned.
