Up your gloves and bracers. More Panthera, less Nodwick? Tybast looking pretty weak.

The thing about this deck is you are kind of hard pressed to play any characters besides the ones that come into play in any rank because there's a good chance they wont get to come into play due to it causing an illegal rank. Because of that you are short on characters that can make the list. Tybast is one that can however because he never actually sees play. I don't really look at him as a character tbh. He is basically a card that says while it is in my discard pile my opponent has -2 skill. Between the 3 checks that ghed makes the opponent do I feel like he is fine. I need another outlet to discard him though. 1x toren isn't enough I don't believe. Maybe I'm wrong...

Quest Beast?

Quest Beast seems terrible for this deck. He will not only be hard to get into play but he has to attack before he goes to the back rank, and when he gets to the back rank he will be spent from attacking.

Here's the updated ghed's stand deck. I played it last night against some buddies and it did surprisingly well. The only thing I'm considering is taking out shore up for potion of blurring. However, shore up does a great job of sticking temple of lore in a back rank or getting cardinal daris into play when I'm in I formation so I don't know. I need to playtest it some more to know for sure. The deck has a lot of staying power though and solidified my choice that ghed is the best warlord for this deck.

3 ghed carel
2 acolyte dorra
1 ghed mnettaor

3 tybast
3 war wagon
3 illar rowan
3 sir euain
2 cardinal daris
2 temple of lore
1 squire andreas
1 isadran warrior
1 toren yscar

3 call verdatha
3 shore up
3 gahid's stand
2 pillage

3 potion of blurring
2 great axe
2 helm of terror
1 panthera
1 nodwick
1 rellion truebred
1 nokhtkruger
1 snow elk

2 the shattered spire

I thought about viktor but I like the survivability that dorra provides more. I could be wrong on this but I really like her more here. I'll try both and see what works better. I finally found my answer to an item that I can use to get tybast in the yard. Since I'm already running call verdatha i'm going to put in 1 snow elk and 1 rellion trubreed. Both allow me to discard the tybasts in hand.

Nevermind the 20+ incoming strikes at 3-4 wounds.

Woodrow, don't sit there and pretend like you would have won without the silverwind. 99% of your strikes would have been cancelled if you didn't have a silverwind. Either way though I didn't know we were having an uber showdown of deck masculinity... Lol! If that's the case I will have to find my peasant warlord to put you in your place.

Well I did have my entire deck in my hand.

Oh my god this deck is awesome!

Haha I seriously constructed like 2 Gahid decks just because I want a Gahid deck... This idea is way better. I'm totally going to make a version of this deck! :D

Glad you like it! It is a ton of fun to play the deck, not so much to play against it though. :D It looks janky as hell and in reality it is, but if it can get going its hard to stop it. It's so much fun to cancel a million strikes a turn and then gahid's stand for a crap ton of strikes!

I think that comment was aimed at me for the idea.

Hey I'll give credit where credit is due and say neat idea Woody, but it was myself who has put in the man hours playing and tweaking it. If I remember correctly you have never even played the deck. You said it was just an idea... I have expanded upon that idea.
