Post Huntress Vol..err..I mean Jeffrey
My buddy and I are trying to fine tune a Huntress Volda deck that gives the reigns to Jeffrey after he hulks out with the artificer set. Here is where we are currently with the deck:

3 jeffrey
2 baqbou umbala
1 huntress volda

3 nellia yscar
3 elissa yscar
3 barrett yscar
3 rafkin
3 selai yscar
2 temple of lore
1 toren yscar
1 sir thomas of celinar

3 treewalk
3 scourge of dythanus
3 sacrifice

3 spirits blessings
3 destroyer's armor
3 madman's blade
3 maker's gloves
2 bracers of ogre power
2 epic mantle

Any ideas are welcome

I was sad I didn't get to play against this deck in the tournament and really happy that John (not Shields) took first with it. I was also happy that Kevin was the only one who managed to take him down and that it was with splash damage from Araddun (classic!).

I think for the control aspect, Exhaustion is a stronger play than Mudslick. I also think Paralysis Ward is better than Mudslick.

I like how you've got the items down to the bare essentials. There are so many fun things you could put on, but haven't the room. It looks pretty good.

some way to draw into those items faster would be good. the Militia will get you Jeffrey, but the rest is ... dicey.

Consider also that Wand of Negation is your enemy.

at one point in Epic I faced a sweet Dragnlord Challenge from a Jautya Syne Jeffrey deck.. it used Grim Teller as the starting formation to try and feed into the item combo faster.

I like Volda as it means they have to deal with Jeffrey, and cannot just snipe the Warlord. But if you can run some proper defense you could look at Sir Lucian (switch with a starting Jeffrey, allowing him to equip up to level 4 items freely, or get the first boost by killing a starter) or Captain Alera (Ranger Jeffrey would be able to equip a weapon besides Madman's Blade). and a level 5 Warlord would be able to play Well Supplied.

Existing deck need one Epic Mantle for nuts stats. (love the combo with Rafkin)

might need room for Risk's Reward to help find the pieces.

and Tacus Fylde might be a smart include. with the set you can quickly push him to level 5 + and have an extra backup Warlord (with innate leveling)

The sir orbans are actually epic mantles. I just forgot when I threw the deck together so I put him in instead. Sir orban prolly needs to go in though. The characters I'm kinda iffy on but I didn't know who else to put in. Who should I play? Also if I got rid of the healing what should I put in?

I think the frame work is good.

Keep with Volda. she brings too much survival to the table.

accept that you will be weak to the Wand of Negation. Either just suck it up or run some locked rings (dont have to be on Jeff, works within one rank).

I like the crazy character support staff, disguises what you are doing. Although the secret disappears first turn when you use Militia to grab Jeff.

idea. what about two Hawk Hatchets. either Volda puts them on temporarily or a two piece Jeff removes the Madman's blade for a moment (hopefully not dying - probably a bad plan) so that he can preform the ranged strike. Weird trick in that plan is that it would know him down to a level where you might be able to Leveled! with him.

Considered Faith in Steel, but the using character equips the item if found, and that means it is only good after Jeffrey has Destroyer's Armor and is looking for the Madman's Blade (Faith in Steel will not look for Gauntlets).

if you wanted to stop at the Madman's Blade, War Spikes would be hot.

Updated decklist. Still unsure on characters but i like the actions and items. They all serve a purpose.

I would run multiple Locked Rings. The ring can't protect itself so it needs other rings so they can protect each other.

Yeah, I slipped up suggesting Thievesbane. It gives you the Cursed trait which undoes Sir Orban.

What's the point of that, Woodrow?

Eh, I considered San. But I like doing it with Tacus better. The trade-off is built-in extra wounds so I can change the BoOP's to something else, but I lose the ability to create more warlords.

Why trade routes? I debated on it myself but whenever you have no way to control what your opponent is going to give you then it is a lot less useful. Seems like well supplied would be much better for this deck. That being said kothkah seems like an excellent choice for this type of deck.

I think it all ties in with Order of Battle.
