Post Open: Ygraine, vorpal & Glyph of fate question
hey, i am an old school player and have recently gotten back into warlord.
ages ago there used to be a deck one of the guys at my local gaming store used, which included a ygraine vorpal blade and glyph of fate combo with another card that was letting him target anyone in my army. does anyone know what card (assuming there is one) that would allow a wizard / warrior too target anywhere into my ranks with a melee strike?

You should get your self a Mekk'iah instead. The additional level makes it easier to get everything going.

very cool, i remember this guy now but didn't even think of using him in this combo. thanks for the input

been trying too think of how to make this deck again for a while now, i cant think off memory if theres any other way this deck swings for victory as a fail safe if u can't get this combo off, as rare as that may be or if this deck was just a one trick pony you needed too work.

Anandales armour is a massive pain in the ass making a crit success a re-roll and only being able to equip 1 glyph of fate.
im thinking desert martyrs and reversal of fortunes

Well, if you go with Mekkiah, you could give him +1 level or +1 level for performing fighter actions and then use Pit Fight to target their Warlord. It would give you both Fell Blow and Pit Fight as ways to get the swing off with Glyph and Vorpal.

multiple redundancies.

Albino Novice for more crits.
Desert Martyr with Kharma not Reversal of Fortune.

any of the crit increasers can also work for you, and just roll and hope. nice with a Burning Hands to generate plenty of rolls.

Pouncing Lunge can also work for you

Light has a place, if only to make your opponent nervous.

probably a "better" version of the deck would be out of Coreos Bodach.

use Staff of Storage as your weapon. Attach the Fell Blow to that.
enhance with Hel's Rune.

have to swing twice, but stunning while you do it.

very cool, i didn't know about Coreos but he seems like the best bet for this type of deck with his ability and thanks for the correction on reversal of fortune. kharma is certainly the card i am looking for.
so many new cards since i last played that support this deck type
