To me, he may be played like a fighter, along with good wizard and mentalist stuff.

if ur deck dosn't use all 3 of these things, it's probly not to his full potential. but can still be effective.. i'd play him mostly as a fighter though, do to debt of blood coolness.

I go front rank fighter with a bit of wizard tricksiness, I don't think I use the Mentalist Trait at all....

I love my Fighter Tzin deck. As for my Mentalist Tzin deck, no matter how much I tune it, it just never seems to work for me.

i would use front rank fighter things with some items that benefit both wizards and fighters such as ring of smiting also use things like dept of blood because the rest of the rank is going to get killed

what type of mentalist stuff would he be good with.there are better mentalists out there.

most mentalist actions are usable by wizards anyway.
i think his mentalist trait is just for story.

he is just a fighter with trix.

i think he is just a fighter who gets bigger bonuses from certain cards such as burning hands and mystic strike

There are better fighters and wizards. Unless you make good use of his Mentalist-ness than it is just a waste. Of course, by no means does this mean that you shouldn't make use of fighter and wizard things as well but...

Actually with him you could have a front rank wizard with extremely high skill who can safely stay in the first rank and throw huge spells at his opponents back ranks, while equipping fighter items that give him some kick even if his wizard arsenal is empty.

Namely i think of [character]Taumar the protector[/character], [character]Sir Magnus Arcadis[/character], the [item]Bruntor[/item] set and all high DC spells and mentalist action that he can throw at an opponent.
